Sailing Academy Theewater
We hold our dinghy sailing lessons at the family friendly Theewater Sports Club, where we have a training room and bunk house at our disposal on the shore of the Theewaterskloof Dam. The Academy provides safety boats, life jackets, sailing dinghies, Instructors, accommodation in two rooms with double bunks.
Our focus is on safety and having fun, both on and off the water. We teach on our fleet of modern Topper Topaz Race X dinghies, which allows us to get most of our students sailing the boat without assistance in light to moderate breeze by the end of the weekend, but can also provide the thrill of powering along with three sails up for the more advanced sailors.
We are both World Sailing and South African Sailing accredited as are all of our Instructors and we adhere to the various safety regulations imposed upon us by these bodies, we are also COVID 19 compliant.
